Description

The listing, Original Convict Skateboard Deck 7.75 Signed has ended.

Okay, so here's the ultimate cool listing. This is a Convict Skateboard Deck. I own this company and don't generally offer them up for free. Google us if your curious.

I believe it's a 7.75 deck. This started as a picture hand drawn by an inmate in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He was in the Walls Unit in Huntsville. This was a pencil and ink sketch.

We take it and make a decal that covers the entire deck, cut it, sand the edges, and apply the acrylic by hand. Sand it again ....and again, until it becomes so slick it's part of the wood. It is a long and tedious process.

This one you probably won't want to skate on as it is signed by the artist. Although you can if you want to. Our pro skater plows through these decks about once every couple of months. A casual or non pro skater can expect it to last a long, long time.

No, it does not come with trucks, wheels, bearings or hardware. Just the deck.

Enjoy. Good luck. Bid hard! If this one does well maybe I'll put up another in a couple months.

Free shipping so please, no buyers remorse. If you don't want it, don't bid. It's pretty easy.

Along with the deck comes an explanation of the art in the ex-convicts own words. He is no longer incarcerated and has given his full permission for the creation of the deck, use of his art and ...obviously he signed it so you'll know his name. Man has some mad talent, but what you see ...I'll bet it's not what you think it is.

Cheers.

I agree. When he told me the meaning of this deck it was nothing like what I thought. That's the idea though. Prison is a violent, horrible place and some inmates take that pain and rage and put it in art.
