The listing, LG Flatron L1720P monitor has ended.
My 1720P is approx. 7 yrs old. After about 10 min operation the display suddenly goes black. I hear a small click when that happens. I can still see a slight "ghost" t the display. If I turn the monitor off & wait a few minutes the display returns, but then will go dark again after several minutes. This process repeats w/ the ever shortening intervals. Any ideas as to the problem & whether it's a reasonable ($$-wise) fix? --The backlight inverter board is defective or a high voltage cable going from the inverter output to the lamps is damaged or touching ground.
no cords but i know there in my closet somewhere, and also the back plate missing i will try to find them if not i sure will let you know in a comment.
