The listing, Vintage Cast Iron Bottle Drunk Man Holding Signpost has ended.

Cast Iron Bottle Opener Man Holding Signpost - Figural Bottle Opener Man and Post - Souvenir from Bourbon Street New Orleans.

The writting MOST of it has been wiped off of the sign but it Originally said " Bourbon Street New Orleans" Measures 4 inches high. He has some rust on him but it VERY light and can be Easily cleaned, it's not penatrating the metal at all. it's topical. Since it's so old I'm not trying to clean it because I don't want to damage it. It came in a box of stuff from an estate sale. Original paint can still be seen.

It's VERY faint now but if you look in the book or kovels online and look up new orleans drunk sign post opener you should find it. you will then need to register with them to get the price. TRY IT. Wow, that's so funny.My Mom has one that is almost identical and it belonged to her grandfather so we figured out it's at least 100 yrs. old and the name on the sign has
faded too. This is a true classic and we've kept it in the family. Good luck to anyone who bids on this. You are getting a little bit of history.
