The seeds i saved from my 2011 plants should be ok for a couple of years probably 3years+ some will still grow. But thats in a dry packet/envelope, air tights ment to be best i have read. I just keep mine in cleaned out empty soup packets and put them in a box with a lid, not really airtight but it works for me. Ive never kept seeds in a fridge or freezer before, dont know what thats all about?
Dark and dry is how i try to keep mine.
I only planted mine 3weeks ago and they sprouted, loads of time to still grow some this year

St Pierre – 78 days. A French heirloom tomato popular in Europe because of the rich flavor that remains even through the canning process. Large red fruits grow on prolific vines even in poor soil conditions.

I would of thought that the moisture of being kept in a fridge would, make seeds go moldy or make them sprout. But thats just an opinion. Everyone has their own way of doing things.

Are you sure it's free shipping to the USA ? I really like your tomato seeds. Is it easy to find these varites in England & Europe ? Does it mean that the seeds from these tomatoes will grow the fruit the next year ? Do you plant the seeds from a tomato or does the plant come back next year, like a periannual ?Thanks.

You just grow them until the frost kills the plant. They wont come back, well they might if it didnt go cold, but i doubt a plant would do well as diseases build up. same family as potatoes - nightshade family.
Plant them now and they will grow and make fruits. or wait till next year and plant them. End of the day you have to plant the seeds to make the tomatoes. Then save some seeds from some what you grew, so you can grow them again. A search on the internet will explain how to go about saving the seeds. Its not an exciting process. If you look on the internet you can see if companies will send seeds to your location. I send mine for free at the moment. .
