Thank you. Yes it's a steal because if you got the money to fix it, you have a new laptop. I didn't have the money at the time and I hadn't bought a warranty. I also had a PC in the house, so I didn't need it.
LCD = Liquid Crystal Display. The screen is the top layer. Which is what your looking in front of you. The 2nd layer is the LCD. Which is like a sandwich. Its 2 ply glass with liquid inside. Another words. The screen is not cracked but the 2 ply panels are inside leaving a trail of liquid looking like the screen is cracked. If I'm wrong about this process, then I'm wrong but that's how I'm getting this problem.
It's like this, if u have $300 or over depending on if you have a discount, you can buy one brand new. This is new just flawed. The screen is not cracked. I just grabbed the screen with my thumb too hard and now the liquid is messed up. Many people have got on here saying it would cost about $50 to repair, not a high price when you're getting it for free. I got it in 2015, it's a Windows 10 with everything on it.
the actual model number and other info might be under the battery just slide the lock switch over and lift out the battery and the print might be on the laptop itself under the battery.
