How about this. I bought this for the grumpmeister who after looking at it for a few minutes, decided that the screen was too small for him to see. I decided to give it away on listia because maybe, just maybe, there is someone out there who would want a 10 year old Game Boy Advance. I bought it early this year from the local consignment shop and couldn't believe my good luck. That is until the grumpmeister decided he didn't want it. We had a lot of power outages and he was playing his antique hand-held games so I thought this would be perfect. Ha. Anyway...here it is and hopefully someone wants it. It is in very well cared for condition. The screen has a few minor surface scratches but everything seems to work well. I tried a few of the games and took a few photos of the game on the screen. The sounds from the games drives my helper, Gabby, absolutely nutso. If you see a foot or ear, that's her.

I must clarify a few things here. I had NO idea how to even turn the thing on. I had to enlist the help of a youngster. Nor did I know how to insert the game cartridges. But I finally figured it out and all the games I tried worked. The Game Boy runs on batteries. It has the adapter, but I didn't know enough to look for the back that takes the adapter, so that piece is missing but I did find a link to order one - and I was going to do it but he didn't want it. What can you do, old men you know.

Most of the games are in little cases but there are some that aren't. They do all, however, seem to work now that I figured out how to put them in and turn on the little device.

I didn't list the games, but I can if you need me to. I tried to show most of them in the photos. Let me know if you want me to list the games and I will.

Shipping is free. I sure hope there is someone out there who really wants a Game Boy Advance!

this is an awesome auction and so i wanted to know the part u r talking about thats missing,can u still play with it with the plug in cord shown above in pic or do u have to have that extra peice to thats missing?hope u understood what i was trying to ask((:

I understand what you mean. The game also runs on batteries and that part works fine. I have the charger, just not the piece that attaches to the back of the game that the charger plugs into. I'm not even sure it's called a charger...but I did post the link to the site where you can get the piece. I have batteries in the game now and they work just fine. You might want to consider rechargeable batteries though...Thanks for your interest!
