Description

The listing, WW II US Bomber Plane has ended.

Looks to be a metal pin, aprox 1 3/4" long. There are 2 discoloration spots on back which leads me to believe a clasp may have been attached at one time. Looks similar to a B17 or B29 bomber with 4 engines. The word NAVY appears on the front by the tail. Back side is blank and has surface scuffs.(not deep scratches) Not sure of origin or purpose. Most likely a cereal or radio premium from the 1940s. The first picture appears to have some redish and black areas due to lighting and the camera, this is NOT on the actual item. Click and enlarge the 2nd photo to get a better idea of item appearance. The dime is pictured for size reference only and is NOT part of the auction. If anyone has some info on this item, please comment for others to see. FREE SHIPPING. Be sure to check out other auction offerings from the Village. Thanks and happy bidding!

Im not sure what else it could have been used for. Kids in the 40s loved dressing up like servicemen esp pilots with pins and skull caps and bomberstyle jackets etc.
