The base is wood but I'm pretty sure the horse is metal. It's just under 7 inches long and an inch and a quarter wide.

Nice! Maybe lead? It reminds me of those cast lead figures you see in soldier sets, can you see and seam lines?(Should be in the middle of the back or stomach. 7" is too large for a kids playset though. This looks quite old! Maybe 1890 to 1920 or so. And it hasn't got a slot anywhere? (Like a piggy bank?).Maybe a bookend or doorstop. The horse looks to me to be an Arabian horse.Watching!

it looks to be either a doorstop or one of a set of two bookends, but my guess is stop if it's heavy! I would say your best bet for secured insured delivery is media flat rate priority for $12.65
