This is the Diana Princess Of Wales Memorial Coin. Comes from the British Royal Mint. Gold, with a five pound denomination. The alloy is cupro-nickel and weight is 28.28gms.

This is one of many Princess Diana things I have aquired over the years with my collection. I can't remember if I got it in London or at Althorp but it was several years ago on a family trip to Europe.I have been collecting Diana stuff since the mid 80's.

What is the diameter? This is gold alloyed with copper and nickel? Or gold plate over copper nickel alloy?

It is cupro-nickel alloy and some sortb of gold coating probably gold plate? Not sure.
