The reason I asked is because some international is less expensive than others through my experience dealing with the postal service. I would have to charge a small fee for international unless it got to a certain amount of points. Sorry for not specifying, I am new to this.

You have to have XBOX Live Silver Membership which is free if you already have an XBOX Live membership. It is a code that that you enter when prompted. You don't sound dumb! I would not know if it wasn't for my son. HEHE

Don't think you have to have XBox Live membership to download songs. Had one like it and I didn't have XBox live to download. Maybe I'm wrong.
