Description

The listing, Vintage sterling silver and marcasite locket has ended.

Lovely vintage sterling silver(marked 925) and marcasite locket pendant. It was purchased at an estate sale many years ago. It is 3/4 of an inch.It is a quality piece that even has marcasite on the bail! I checked it carefully and it has all the stones intact. It has a great dark patina that I have kept because I love the look. But you could polish it up to where it shines brightly if you like.It weighs a full 9 grams. Truly an heirloom quality piece to be cherished.Space inside to add two pictures.

WARNING>>>ST.OLAF POST...Ok...Here is the deal...I am new to this site.In my case ignorance is not bliss and I am loosing sleep!I have been back and forth on free shipping, flat rate,or exact,or what.I checked and the small flat rate box is $5.25.How do people charge$3?Is there a trick?I figured since it was a nice silver piece I would have bids. After a night without bids I wondered if I would pay to give it away. But on this one I am sticking to free shipping...I will live and learn.Do most bids come towards the end?It was that way one the two items I bid on.I have never even bought or sold on ebay before. The closest I have got is selling 100's of chicks on Craigslist lol.I just know I have lots of nice jewelry that I no longer wear and lots of other items.Do you bother with a starting bid?And I need tips and pointers on shipping. What kind to use and if to charge it or not in the future from your own experience? And what I should require and state on my profile and why so I am protected as well as the person bidding so I will have great feedback.Pleeeease leave me your constructive tips on any of these questions if you have the time!I would really appreciate it.I would love to have fans and I will definitely fan you!Thank you in advance.

This is beautiful!! Fanned & watching! Yes, bids start coming near the end. When I have my auctions, I can't stand to do them any longer than 3 days for that very reason. See, you already have one bid. I believe you have a good start. You have a good quality picture ( it would be nice to have a picture of it open) and you have a good description. The more pictures and information you provide, the more credits you get. As far as the postage goes, that's totally up to you. You don't have to use the flat rate box. It's cheaper to send 1st class mail in a package with tracking #. That's how you can do it for about $3.00. You should have no trouble getting bids on this beauty!! Hope this was helpful! I'll be back later.........

Bless your heart. Don't lose sleep over it! This is the 'small stuff '. I have only been here 3 months but it seems like a very good community and there are so many people that will help you figure it out. Take it slow and easy and you will figure out how you want to do things. It is definitely addicting and so much fun. I love the adrenaline rush towards the end of an auction! Beautiful locket. Good luck hon and I hope you will continue to list.
