I put up the warning because I know of someone who was beaten badly for wearing a rainbow pin. I do remember Rainbow Brite and the Care Bears; in fact I have both in my collection, with the rainbows. But I was so horrified by the beating, and so glad that I am not prejudiced.

I to have someone I know who is gay and his boyfriend was murdered due to being gay, and the scary part to that is that they have never caught the murderer. It's sad that people's ignorance in not liking the way people are have to lead to such violance and that someone wearing a simple "rainbow pin" could make someone snap and want to hurt the person wearing it.....don't make sense.

be aware that gay organizations have adopted the rainbow as their symbol. wearing this could mean you support the gay movement. not all persons are tolerant. sorry to rain on your parade, but in some areas, wearing this could put you in physical danger.

Well back in my day the rainbow and the clouds stood for Rainbow Brite or CareBears, I guess everyone has thier own outlook and opinion on certain subjects. The way I see it, it stands for whatever you want it to stand for..........

I would actually be wearing this in support of my gay son. No matter what you wear or do in life, the world is such that negativity and anger lash out at any difference....its so sad. Hearts & Hugs....
