Black ballpoint pen. IT NEEDS A NEW REFILL. It uses the regular Cross refills that screw in. The ink in the pen is used up or dried up. Length is 5.5 inches. The pen is a little larger and heavier than a common ballpoint pen. This pen was a gift to me and I used it very little. There is no brand name on the pen. I did not use it because it was a little too heavy for me (I am a woman). I think it would be ideal for a man. You can buy Cross refills as well as other brands of refills such as Eversharp which are cheaper than the Cross refill.
