These are cute even if you've had your piercing for a while! These earrings have a thicker post because they are made to be used when a person first gets their ears pierced (to keep the holes open). They're surgical steel- it's better than sterling for new piercings because it won't tarnish, but still gives off a silver finished look. The backings also lock into place more sturdily so that they won't fall out while the ears are adjusting. In good gently used condition.
