it has something stamped on it but I cant read what it says but this one is the same as the other one I purchased it from bidz.com jewelry site.

The 925 Sterling Silver mark is usually only imprinted on internationally traded goods. So chances are, this wouldn't have the mark unless bought from somewhere else.

I wear.....2 toe rings, 8 bracelets, 4 anklets, 7 rings, 2 necklaces w/2 charms & im about 99% sure that every one of them has 925 on it!! and ive gotten jewelry from swap meet, walmart, ross......etc!! im not tryin 2 b a ***** or 2 sound like u dont know what ur talkin bout.....i waz jus lettin ya know, k!! thank 4 responding 2 my question!! =)

well, it's not like you should count on walmart or ross to sell American made stuff, right? i wear a lot of jewelry also-- and, I can't wear anything but sterling without getting allergic, so i'd be a good test subject! come to think of it, all the jewelry that i've gotten from small retailers who sell their own jewelry does not have .925 on it...
