Author: Caitlin Samson MSACN

If you are one of the 1.3 million people in the US living with rheumatoid arthritis, you’re all too familiar with joint pain, fatigue & even depression. And if you’ve tried one-size-fits-all anti-inflammatory treatments, you may be disappointed in their side effects or the lack of relief they provide.

After many years of frustration & pain, the author finally received appropriate nutritional guidance & began managing her condition through an anti-inflammatory diet.

This revolutionary & comprehensive cookbook offers recipes specifically geared towards you including:

- 100 easy recipes that offer big flavors with little prep work

- A 2-week meal plan to get started right away, with guidelines for modifying calories to lose or gain weight

- Up-to-date information outlining the foods that fight (or worsen) inflammation

- A guide to the medicine-diet relationship to better understand how nutrition can balance out the side effects of rheumatoid arthritis medications

In this groundbreaking resource, the author proves that finding relief from your rheumatoid arthritis symptoms through anti-inflammatory nutrition is possible & shows exactly how you can do it, too.

Awww, thanks so much! I have quite a few more titles to list as well and a storage unit worth of new merchandise. There are only so many hours in the day though, lol. Glad that you stopped by! :)

That's one of the reasons that I stopped listing as many items as I used to. Shipping can get VERY costly and I receive only SSDI so I really need to be careful.

I know that many of the drop shippers & 3-party sellers don't pay for shipping because they order items directly through Amazon, etc. and have their items shipped directly to their winners.

Many more sellers are now charging to cover some, if not all of their shipping costs, (many even factor in charges for fuel to & from USPS which is against policy). Then there are so many sellers that charge more shipping than the maximum allowed on certain items so they are really making cold hard cash which is also against policy. Of course, there are also a huge number of sellers that list only digital codes which require no shipping costs at all! I'm beginning to think that listing gift cards is the way to go, especially since those sellers are getting 4 times as much as other sellers that price their items according to the current rate of 27,500 credits = $1.00 (which hasn't changed since Dec. 2016, after the site allowed it to escalate about 400% inflation over the previous year)

I sure do miss the "good ol' days", lol when it felt like one big community and most sellers offered free shipping. Times sure have changed! Take care my friend. :-)

Yes, I was off the site for about-a year and Im shocked at the number of credits items are going for now, Listia is really raking in the cash, I had never purchased credits until last week! I have RA, do you have that too? Was curious if you have tried any of the recipes in the book?

I have a very rare auto-immune disease, Relapsing Polychondritis. It's a "distant cousin" to RA. I am a firm believer that diet is as important to our care as medication, physician appointments, etc. so I'm always on the lookout for new recipes.

Actually, I prefer to treat myself as holistically as possible. At one point I was prescribed 25 different medications. I have weaned myself down to "only" 11, which is still more than I'd like. I would much prefer to do massage therapy, water therapy, etc. but it's just impossible since Medicare does not cover it.

It's difficult to understand how I can be in this position after having been a registered nurse for more than 25 years prior to becoming ill. I try to stay positive and take one day at a time as much as possible.

That's funny, I have been reading a lot about Lyme Disease as well lately! I still try to keep abreast of what's happening in the world of medicine but it sure isn't quite as easy as being "hands on". Sending love & light to you and hoping for a cure for us too! :D
