What is GIN? Also, are these crochet patterns?

GIN = Get it Now. This is Rug Braiding... which is made from 'braiding' pieces of scrap materials together. Quite easy to make the braids. The tough part is when you sew those strips together, and you have to decide how to match colours. Very rewarding craft though :)

Ive started a rug like these out of blue jeans, just old levis etc. that are worn out or the kids grown out of. These are so cool! Especially the heart that is really cute!

ooo what a great idea!!! I did a similar thing last winter... I cut them all into squares and stubborn as I was decided I could figure out how to quilt!! I made two identical quilts for my grandsons who are 3 and almost 1. I absolutely LOVE your idea ... and still have some strips I could probably work something with.

sorry folks... I forgot to add the GIN option. YOu'll probably get a chuckle out of this but with going back to work full time for the FIRST time in over a year, I've been sadly lacking in the ability to complete thoughts! GL with bidding folks and apologize for the confusion <3
