Description

The listing, 1956 United Kingdom Shilling with the English Crest on the Reverse has ended.

Second of today's set of five. Check this one out. For each year there was an English and a Scottish Crest on the reverse of the one shilling. This one is the English Crest.

The pictures show the coin for what it is. Nice addition to anyones collection. This coin is in good condtion. You get the coin pictured. I have offered one of these before and it went for over 27,500 credits. This coin is just as nice and I am sure there will be many bidders. Bid early and often don't get shut out.

I start all my Auctions at 499 and leave it to the buyers to decide on what they want to pay. I have a 100% satisfaction so far and I am sure this coin will meet with expectations.

I ship free to the US and Canada because the general out come of the bidding makes it affordable and I want to encourage the hobby where ever I can.

Feel free to look and ask questions. Don't forget to check out my other auctions

I hate to say it. But the shilling you have pictured has the English crest on the reverse.... the Scottish shilling depicts the Rampant Lion.

Check the title and you will see I agree with you. I only made mention of the Scottish Crest as the other variation of the reverse. I then repeat that this is an English Crested Shilling. Not to get confused with the red crested nuthatch (sorry, a little English ornithology humor) You are correct that the Scottish version has a Rampant Lion, that is to say a lion on its hind legs. Hope you enjoy the auction and check out my other ones as well.
