Ladies, this bird house is soooooo pretty and vibrant! I have distressed it and have given it an antique finish as well. The perch is made from wire and marble. Both the sides and front have carved flowers,and the roof is like a deep lemon yellow, with hints of orange and red showing through. This bird house is heavy duty and made of cedar, with a thick aluminum hanger. This is a beautiful example of cottage style decorating! I know for certain you will not be disappointed in this piece. This is art, and could be displayed inside as such! Thanks guys!

I have one birdhouse that needs painted right now, that is tiny, but I will get that done this week, I think. My art class today went so well. I think I am going to do something to list this coming week, a small one and I think I am going to try to do one for my daughters wall and one as a small gift to you, too. You have been wanting to see one, right?>

Oh Simone, I would love that! I am a collector of birdhouses! I have one that is about 5 ft. tall on legs, with about 6 bird openings going down it. It has a nice primitive finish from being outside all these years. Yes, please do send photos!

Hi Elijah! Thanks very much! The colors are prettier in person. As I am sure you know, sometimes pictures do not do justice. I really like this piece, but I also collect colorful birdhouses! I am thinking of doing one for myself,with a clay bird coming out of the hole...Thanks for checking in and commenting, I love hearing from you guys! :)

I love birdhouses, but the colors and "distressing" of your's are much more incredible, than most, I've seen! I won a very colorful Hummingbird Feeder for a friend, last year, very colorful blown glass, but not my style, she loved it:)

Yeah, you know Elijah, I just do not like most of my things to look "new" I love to fill my house with primitives, and I use modern pieces and art as accents! Birdhouses should not ever look like they just came off of a showroom floor ick!

Hi Imae, if you will notice in the first picture, you will see the heavy duty aluminum (with some paint remnants on it)hanger attached that allows you to hang it from a hook or a stand in your yard. It is very well made and will endure the weather and sunshine as it has lots of varnish. However I like that weather worn look myself..lol. Thanks for stopping by! :)
