The listing, Very Vintage Whiting and Davis Mesh Bag has ended.

Signed Whiting and Davis Co Mesh Bag Register US & CAN. Please note pics #9 & #10. This purse does need repair on either side, however when I first acquired it I did take it to an antique dealer and he indicated that it was definitely worth repairing because of the maker. That said, I could have probably done it but to me chain maille is so tedious and I have a tendency to procrastinate. But since I am now rotating inventory! I am going to give someone who is an avid collector the opportunity to give this gem the TLC it deserves :+) .
This company was founded in 1876 and is world renowned for its fashionable and high quality metal mesh handbags. The brand has long enjoyed well deserved popularity with celebrities and the fashion press.
This bag has roses, flowers, vines on both sides of the metal frame and on the inside is the small metal makers tag.
