I have here a NWOT Size Large Unisex Steve and Barry's Double Down jacket. I bought it for my daughter online a few years ago. This retailed for $100.00 and I got it on sale. Only when she had it for a few months did she decide it was too puffy. I don't think it's puffy but she is a teenager!
You can wash this jacket on delicate. It specifically states not to dry clean.
On the back of the neck on this jacket there is a hidden nylon hood with a drawstring. The pockets zip and the zipper on the front of the jacket glides along nicely.
The red color, I'd say is an apple red.
I noticed a few light spots which will most likely come out when washed. I can only think that it might have happened when we moved.
I looked it over and it appears that it's not a cheap quality, however I would not call it highest quality due to a few feathers surfacing now and then. When my daughter tried it on she said it was very, very warm.
Recently my boyfriend tried it on. He is 145 pounds and it fits nicely which makes me think it runs true to size.
He is also 5 ft 11 and it hits him just below the hip level.
The insulation on this jacket is 60% feathers and 40% down. Shell is 100% polyester, lining is 100% polyester.
I have tried to cover all of the bases with the jacket.
I smoke and have fish as pets.
