just curious... is it less expensive to make it or buy store detergent. just curious.

It is definitely cheaper to make it yourself. I spend about $25 to make it, but it lasts for 6~9 months for me. With a larger family, it may not last as long, but still cheaper. The cost of detergent has gone up so much lately, that for me, this works best! I prefer the dry detergent, the recipe is on auction also. I actually did the calculations, and it is REALLY only pennies per load! Ive shared these recipes with all my friends, and they agree, it really saves money!
