It wouldn't cost $8 but if you want it- then pay the $8. If you don't want to pay $8 then go buy another wii remote elsewhere. It's the sellers choice to put a price for shipping (which can include packaging, time spent, gas to post office, confirmation and other materials) and the buyers choice to bid.

What I don't get with all of you complaining about paying $8 for shipping is that do you not realize that you will be paying ONLY $8 for a Wii remote, protective silicone cover and the nunchuk? I would pay $20 for shipping if I had to because I would still be coming out ahead since that remote usually runs about $40!!
