I was disappointed that the same machine you are offering that I recently bought at a rummage sale did not work because the owner stored it with batteries that corroded and leaked and ruined it. Please check condition of battery leads and batteries and tell us what you can now sew with it as it is today. I don't need another non-working machine. Thank you.

I will check the battery compartment, but it also has an ac adapter that plugs in too.
