I'm new to the site and not sure how this bidding thing works. I do a bid and it tells me I was out bid but I put more then what the current bid is. Am I missing something?

it just means that the person who bid prior to you placed a higher bid than the required minimum...if the minimum bid is 100 and someone bids 200 Listia leaves it at 100 because that was the minimum bid necessary however because the person bid 200 they won't be outbid until someone bids 200 or more...I'm not sure if I explained that well; hopefully it makes sense.
