Um, well, not sure, they have been used on Virgin Mobil service, how would i tell?

I was told: If your phone is unlocked, then it should work with other networks. You can test it by using a different SIM card, for example if you're using Tmobile then try a Cingular or Sprint SIM.

I don't have another sim card to test with, and i can't find where a replacement sim card would be inserted.
