The listing, (4) VINTAGE Hand Embroidered / Lace Edged BLUE NAPKINS has ended.

Up for bid are four vintage (1940s I believe), napkins. They are hand embroidered, and the lace edge is attached by hand also.

I thought they would work into a blue and white quilt I had in my mind, but I have sold my sewing machine and am not quilting any more, so they are up for bid.

They measure approximately 11" square, although they may not be perfectly square to the quarter inch. And they are a pretty Delft Blue color!

And of course, they can still be used as a napkin, as the original maker intended!

As far as I can tell, they are from the 1940s. It was an estate purchase, so I can't be absolutely sure.
