This is a vintage costume ring. The stone measures about 1" x 3/4" and is beveled to stand up from the setting. It is a deep purple, amethyst shade and the back is silvered. It's really a striking piece and would be fun to wear and surprise people!The band is adjustable. The setting is silver-colored. It has picked up some color in the pics from my background cloth, but it is all silver-tone. As you can see in the pics, the sides have a molded-in design. I don't think this is a modern ring which is why I called it 'vintage'. Modern companies don't usually put this much care into their jewelry. I think the winner will have a lot of fun with it.
