This piece is Made in India. im not sure if its a deco. but it is a kitchen type item as it is a knife and fork set. There is a piece missing on one of the sides where you remove the utensil.

It is a 'Carving Set', made in India. These are Tourist bazaar items, while not mass produced in the modern sense they were made in large numbers . Similar pieces are still sold in Import/Export decorator stores. At auction these routinely sell for under $50.00. This beautiful example is in very good condition. Don't polish the metal parts, because it would take away from the value.
