Questions & Comments
fanned & watching. Stamp sure looks authentic, but have never seen this style/texture/glaze...def unique
I am not saying that this is a replication but there is alot out there so i need to know what else the bottem of the vase has on it i cant tell from the picture will determan how much i bid on this piece thank you so much
fyi I have researched alot of these hull, roseville ect. I have received alot from my grandparents. Rose ville is very collectible I sold multiple pieces for well over 100.00 each. Just depends how rare it is. The more rare it is the more it is worth. Some pieces are worth over 500.00 each!
I do like this piece and would have bid high but needed to confirm authenticity. There is a way to tell but cant see well enough so I am gonna pass on this one but it is very pritty! I am going to an auction in the morning with pottery from this maker and McCoy see what I get there! Thanks again for trying and have a great day!!!
it is a fake I found this way of making the flower listed as fake roseville at the following address: http://www.wwcomponents.net/roseville/roseville.html#jonquil....there were several examples of this way of making the flower. if you click on the color shown by each list of a vase, it will take you to real and fake side-by-side examples. in all of these, genuine roseville had pointed flower petals.
