Description

The listing, *RARE* Set of 5 1976 $2 Bills - Crisp Uncirculated with Consecutive Serial #'s (GIN) Sliding Scale has ended.

** LOW GIN ***

Up for bid: A *RARE* Find - Five brand new 1976 $2 bills - consecutive serial numbers!

A recent trip to the bank yielded an awesome find... A big stack of brand new uncirculated 1976 $2 bills with CONSECUTIVE SERIAL NUMBERS as fresh as the day they were printed! I would consider these to be "CU" or "Crisp Uncirculated" but use the pictures to make your own judgments.

These are over 36 years old and if you didn't know, you'd think they came from the BEP strap yesterday!

What you get: The actual five bills shown here - E49452160A through E49452164A. The front plates are as follows: 61, 58, 59, 60 & 61 respectively. The back plates are as follows: 62, 63, 61, 48 & 62 respectively...

NOTE: You really can't see it here, but when I put all of these (almost 100) in a stack, it looks like the metal band that holds the 40 straps together in a brick may have left a band of rust. I don't think it's the typical grease you see from counting machines, but I could be wrong. This in no way hurts the notes in my opinion...

NOTE 2: Yes, these are the same 5 that I had auctioned off previously. The winner of that auction qualified for then of them and want ten in a row... So these five are still available!

BONUS: Includes FIVE BICENTENNIAL QUARTERS!

Sliding Scale Bonus: If the final bid is 15,000 or higher OR if GIN is used, I'll throw in ANOTHER FIVE just like these! That's a total of TEN crisp 1976 $2 Bills!

Shipping is FREE in the US!

Good luck & don't miss out on this one!

No one cares about what year they are. Or the serial numbers. They are worth $2. A red seal $2 is still barely worth like $5. You can play it however you want but this really isnt worth while. Cya lol

Three things.... 1) Everybody has an opinion. We now have yours. 2) Be careful about leaving snide / mean-spirited comments that don't serve any constructive point. The auction owner can BLOCK YOU and you'll never be able to comment or bid on any of their auctions again. 3) Can you please let me know once you get those consecutive uncirculated 1976 $2's from the bank? I would like to buy some. And since they are barely worth more than face value, can I have them for $2.50 each?

Any item is WORTH whatever someone else will pay for it.

I love $2 bills- Chinese clients often leave them as 'good luck' tips.

@NYNick, perhaps these bills are "just worth $2.00", did you notice that they are consecutive & uncirculated??? Either you are NOT a collector or very naive about things... These bills ARE a great find & the winner will be a "lucky duck" not a sour puss like yourself!!! ;)

What federal reserve bank issued the notes? As for the above comment, these are worth $3.50 to $15, depending on where they were issued. Some people are so ignorant....

The serial number starts with E, so that tells us that it's the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond VA. Thanks!
