Vintage ceramic wall plaque designed by Danish artist Bjorn Wiinblad for as part of the Harmoni series for Nymolle Denmark, circa 1960s-70s.This plaque, May, shows two lovers in a moonlit garden. Nymolle made 12 different plaques in this set for each month, with each one showing a phase of courtship/love. You have to know May is a good time -- look at that sly dog leaning in close.
This circular ceramic plaque is 6 inches in diameter. While free of chips or cracks, there is discoloration around the edges and back (see pictures) and one little nip on the back below the hole for hanging. This nip does not show on the front and is barely visible in the back.
