Very good condition of 1st issue 1970 Fleer (Blue Back) ..sometimes confused for 1968 because of the insignia copyright date at the bottom of the card ..World Series card of the 1919 World Series featuring the Chicago White Sox and Cincinati Reds ..Which earned the White Sox the knickname Black Sox do to the Arnold Rothstein betting scandal..which players from the White Sox were paid to throw (what they thought were a few games) but ended up having to lose the series do to threats of violence from gangsters against their families, even though most players claimed to never have seen a dime, 8 Men were Out..Life Time Ban..including greats like Shoeless Joe Jackson, Buck Weaver,Eddie Cicotte, Chick Gandil,Hap Feltch to name a few..One of the Biggest Scandals in Baseball History
