this is really a tapestry, an afghan is also called a shawl. But a tapestry you hang on the wall or use as a throw blanket. I LOVE IT! We dont use trees here at Christmas so this would be perfect to hang us to use lol

It is made of 99% cotton and 1% mettalic wire. and it is about 6 or 7 years old but in great condition. And thanks!
