I actually got them as a gift from my sister-in-law,....I wanna say I've seen them along time ago in Target,...but can't remember for sure

I have done it both ways,...it was tougher to get the cake out,...so the second time I used cones that fit perfectly in them..

you know I don't have the box anymore that they came in,...but If I remember right you just use regular box cake mix and bake as if you were making regular cupcakes....they key was to only fill them no higher than the "cone" part so when the batter rises it then fills in the top part of the cone shape....
