Up for auction is a lot of 78 buttons purchased for making craft items in the 70s when my mom and I used to do craft fairs. Probably about 35 years old, but never been used.

If you purchase buttons for making kids clothing, you know how expensive they can be! I've held onto these, but am now clearing out my craft items and thought some Listia sewer would surely like these!

I laid them on my scanner top, and tried in vain to keep them from swiveling around (or rolling in the case of the rounder ones), but I think you can get a pretty good idea of what is in the lot. The nickel is not included, but put there so you can judge the size of the buttons.

Also a few of the buttons are sewed onto an ornament which was a trial craft that we never used. They will come attached unless you want me to take them off before shipping.

These are great for decorating sweaters, sweatshirts, and all kinds of kid's clothing, but also useful for making other craft items. My favorites are the Beatrix Potter Bunny, and Squirrel Nutkin with his fishing pole. Actually I love them all, or I wouldn't have purchased them in the first place.
