The listing, Silver Decorative Sand Ikea has ended.

Up for your bidding consideration is two 1.65 pound bags of silver sand type substance. As you can see the name on the package says ISIG. On the back of the bag out says colour may come off. I originally purchased with the intent of pouring around candles on a plate, but never used it. I've had it for around 3 years, and I'm just tired of looking at it! One bag was snipped around the top by my then 2 year old, but it's still sealed. Will ship within 4 days of auction end.

I would use your own judgment. The package doesn't say whether it is safe for plants or not. The color may come off, which may our may not be harmful. Good luck!

To be honest I don't know whether it can be used around live plants our not.As the ckage states the silver color may come off. I would use your personal judgement. O I am afraid to recommend it for use, but it could be perfectly safe to use for that. Good luck!
