used gateway solo pro 9300 laptop notebook.boot up to bios.can't get it into windows.i know it had wins 2000 or wins nt one time.and it was password protected.by reading the bios,it needed a cmos battery,which i replace with a new one.still can't get it to boot in to system.the back of the lid in back is busted alittle and on the faps of the docking slot.paint wore on leftside palmrest.light marks on top lid.no computer batt.no power supply 19/3.5a adapter.got memory of 128mb or higher.screen g/cond.keyboard maybe not working and that maybe why i can't get a responds by pressing f2 to get into setup.everything else looks like good condition.paypal only.sorry no free shipping.unemploy.

hi, most of my auctions, i take them to the post office right after i get the winner address with zip to get the exact cost of shipping.than i email the winner the cost.after i get the paypal payment,i will ship the item off and email the winner the same day that i have ship the winner auction off.i'm thinking around 15dollars for s/h.also in my descrip.,there is no ac/dc charger adapter power supply cord.u can go to ebay.com and get one for 8-10dollars.u you may win one here on listia.com.on the bottom of the gateway solo pro 9300 has a 19v 3.5a adapter needed.i had my hp adapter to power up the laptop.it a 19v 3.5a charger.any power adapter of 19v 3.5a should done.thks for looking,ranman53/randy

hi, i'm thinking that the keyboard is bad or the cable for the keyboard connection is dirty.it's needing a cleaning.bios reads press f2 to go into setup.when i press f2,there is no responding to key press or f1.i know that the keyboard was working about 2 months ago.cause i could get it to boot into password page to enter windows.i put a new cmos batt.in,but still no kb responds to key press.thks,ranman53
