The listing, Ring has ended.

I got this off Listia some time ago and it's just a tad too small. When I got it, the original listing said it was sterling silver marked 925. I don't see any such marking so I'll assume a mystery metal. I've worn it a few times and it's never turned my finger green or anything, so it's not a cheapy. It is relatively heavy tho. Size 5.

Good question! I checked and it doesn't stick to the magnet. What would that mean?

magnet doesn`t stick to sterling but will stick to steel...but it doesn`t rule out other metals!...such as aluminum

It hasn't tarnished at all. Like I said, In the original listing I got it from, the gal said it was sterling silver marked 925. There are some kind of marking inside the ring, but none look like they would be .925.

that means at least its not stainless or it is not sterling plated

I am a silver lover!!! I find rings like the one in that photo all the time, get them for almost nothing because people assume it isn't real...not a pro but looks like silver to me! Look really close though I recently listed a white gold charm as just costume jewelry the buyer was thrilled but offered to return (isn't that what listia is all about of coarse she should keep it!) but she found the markings I could never find and it was GOLD!
