So...this is not a silver nickel...for several reasons. 1) nickels were never produced in 90% silver content. 2) The only nickels that were ever produced with silver were made from mid 1942-1945, known as wartime nickels. 3) The Wartime Nickels were minted with 35%. Not to sound know-it-allish, just trying to help.
