This is a Decorative/Keepsake Egg

It is Approx. 4 1/4 Inches Tall

Just to give you an Idea,The egg is a little larger than a real egg. It opens on a hinge and the clasp is in the shape of a flower w/ a diamond like gem (NOT REAL DIAMONDS)

Excellent pictures. Obviously Cloisonne, Is it Kt'd? I mean gold K' plated?? Does it have a maker?? It's beautiful. My daughter would love it.

Thank you. No markings, I have no idea who the maker would be. It's definitly not real gold or gold plated. I don't think it's worth much money. An ex-boyfriend gave this to me about 9 years ago. I was going through some boxes and thought it would be perfect to put on Listia since it's an egg and it's easter time. Anyway, thanks for your interest and great questions :)

i used to sell these for a living.. this is a cast pewter base plated in a 24k gold plating or fine silver plating.. depending on the artists desire. they are hand enameled and inset with swarovski austrian crystals. (this is by no means a faberge) very nice piece and a wonderful gift for any conniseur of fine art.

It is really pretty, but this one's not gold or gold plated and those aren't crystals.
