The listing, Spanish Lavendar Seed Heads, Organic Lot #1 has ended.
Spanish Lavendr seed heads. These are last year's (2011) crop. I do not use not use anything inorganic on my yard or flowers. These don't even get fertilized. They get really large with large, Bunny eared, purple flowers that I harvest when dry.
The seeds in the picture were scooped into the seed envelope with the seed heads. The seeds belong to another seed head that I rubbed out/deseeded for this picture. What you see in the icture is EXACTLY what is in the seed envelope. (the same for Lot #2)
These will flower by next year. Lavendar is easy to grow, needing little water after established. Spanish Lavendar is great for hillsides, almost groundcover, because of it's somewhat Tumbleweed shape that is beautiful, fragrant, and colorful.
Happy Bidding.
