The listing, 1804 Draped bust large coin has ended.
This is a 1804 draped bust large coin. It is 2” in diameter (see pic# 3 I put a quarter next to it to give you an idea, quarter not included). I don’t know much at all about coins so I can’t tell you much about it. I CANNOT TELL YOU IF ITS REAL OR NOT, but I did do a magnet test and it did not stick at all.
Please, no rude comments because like I said I don’t know if it’s real or not. I only ship within the U.S. I will ship within 3-5 days of receiving payment.
Your coin is real. It is listed in the United States Coins book 62nd edition * 2009 on page 210 It is a dollar coin. If you have to go to a store that has coin boos and look it up. It's a beautiful coin.
Ok I’m tired of the rude comments if u don’t like it pass it up, that’s why I quit selling anything on here long time ago. I’m not that way & I usually wouldn’t write anything like this but I can’t stand it, I usually just buy and it makes me mad when I see people writing something bad on other people’s things when it’s mean. So if you don’t like it or want it move on.
Don't get all frustrated....there are lots of us on here who collect coins and like getting good deals. Go onto usacoinbook.com and it will show you an exact coin of any coin you want to look up and goes into detail about it and what to look for. It is a good starting point for any coin. Don't let people get you down, this is supposed to be fun not a headache. You keep doing what you are and be happy. Sadly to say though, yes the coin is not real the lettering on the reverse will show you that if you look at it close enough. And if you take it to any pawn shop or coin shop they will test it for you and see if it is silver through and through or not for free.
I spoke the truth and my comment was hidden WTF? I am just trying to protect the coin collectors. I just got a coin (China, Provincial MANCHURIAN PROVINCES 20 Cents) which the seller ( jjpackrats) claimed was real but when I received it it weighed a full gram less then the listed weight. I had to send it back at my cost and am still waiting to get my credits back! Listia needs to ban all fakes period and remove those who knowingly sell them. Too many chinese fakes floating around!
