The listing, Awesome Belt Buckle!!! has ended.

Up for auction is a a belt buckle with an eagle on it. Super shiny and cool..just not my taste. The possibilities are endless!There is a bit of tarnish around the top of the eagle. Not sure what kind of metal it is, so am unsure what to clean it with. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Please feel free to ask any questions or make comments. I will respond to all! You could be right. Most of the buckles I own are pewter..but this one doesn't have any markings on the back.

really? I'll have to try that when I get to work tomorrow. I usually clean my metal items with baking soda and a little bit of water made into a paste...but I'm not sure if this belt buckle is pewter or some other metal. It's heavy and relatively dark in color and my guess would be that it's pewter, but I don't want to damage it.
