The listing, HAND STRUCK COIN (no info) has ended.

I do not know anything about this coin other than it is hand struck and very old. It is worn down pretty good, but you can kind of make out the symbols on the face around the square. I took the best pictures I could with my phone. anyone with any info feel free to chip in on the comments.

I would say just by the look of the coin that it is chinese. Other than that I can't really say. Not clear enough of an image to really know.

He wants to know if the coin has raised edges, or if the edges are flat with the coin's base. For example, look at a US Nickel. The edges are slightly raised higher than the base of the coin. Only in this case, the coin's edge would be almost half the diameter of the coin.

its about the size of a quarter, and its a dark gold tint

It's a couple hundred years old from china if it has one side blank & it's not minted with a die, it's poured as a tree of coins & they are broken off the tree as needed. the hole was because most people didn't have pockets in clothing back then & their money was hung on a string of leather.... i fanned you...
