I believe they are bleached. I know they are very clean. They last picture is the opposite side. They sit flat so they would be great for scrap booking. Fragile though, so I would coat them with something before using for jewelry (I would, others would not) these will be packaged with extra care to ensure safe delivery!

I am planning to put them in a small padded box and send in a padded envelope. Also plan on adding an extra one in case one breaks. they will get there safe :o)
