Simplicity Fashion Pro Sewing Machine was purchased BN from Wal-Mart In 2004. Machine cost $499.99 BN and all it will cost the winner is no more then $50.00 for the cord and $35.00 shipping cost.
Features include: 45 stitch functions using 21 built-in stitches, 10 presser feet: all purpose, buttonhole, button sewing, zipper, cording, open toe, darning, overcasting, blind hem, narrow hemer, Automatic built-in buttonhole One-motion, 5-second threading, Fully adjustable stitch length & width, Easy stitch selector dial, Built-in free arm, Snap-on presser feet, Darning plate for monogramming and embroidery, Two spool pins for twin needle sewing, Reverse sewing lever for securing seams, Convenient accessory storage, Top winding bobbin, Built-in sewing light, Built-in carrying handle.
This machine worked fine until my baby decided she wanted to be a cord chewer!
I just decided to buy a new machine that is why I am giving this away. I'm throwing in 1 BN spool of White thread, BN 3 Needle Threaders, 1 BN 25 Assorted Hand Needles, 1 never used Strawberry Pin Cushion, and 2 pair of very sharp Scissors. Everything else in last 5 photo's come with the machine automatically. Please note the other spool pin for twin needle sewing wasn't in photo but is coming with machine and other presser foot is attached to machine. ALSO NOTE that the box this machine will be shipped in isn't the machine winner will receive. Winner will receive machine in photo's 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6,12, and 13. Please also note that winner will have to buy a new power cord for machine. As everyone can see in photo's 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 cord has been chewed. Peddle has been taken apart to replace cord. Replacing cord is as simple as pouring a glass of milk. Just a one step process. See photo's 7, 8, and 9. Shipping is $35. that's half of cost to ship via UPS, this is to large/heavy to ship via USPS

If you ship UPS the first 100 dollars of value is at no cost to either the shippper or seller. So when you ship by UPS always state the value is 100!!

Hey just a quick fyi, you do not need a paypal account to pay the shipping costs to someone elses paypal account. they can use what paypal calls a guest account. if they have a credit,debit or checking account they can pay through guest account so they dont have to make an account anymore. this is on the paypal asite you can check it out. good luck this would be awesome. am def watching.

Has the machine been serviced within the past year? cleaning, lube, timing adjustments, etc?

No never been serviced. Never needed to be done as it sewed like a charm before my baby got a hold of the cord 2 1/2 years back! I know that there was a 25 year warranty on this item from manufacture when purchased.

fabulous! I teach sewing at a non profit gallery school to kids. I need machines!!! I keep getting boat anchor donations (OLD out of order machines...)... Definately fanning and watching this one! Wonderful that ya do that. I took sewing in school and I had a awesome time learning. So I kinda know how the kids feel learning what ya teach. Sorry to hear of all the bad ya have received thus far. Have ya tried to find good used machines on Ebay? That is where I bought a few before my home burnt to ground in 02. Those were very nice machines too. Have ya tried placing an ad on listia under the wanted section or even just looking to see what is out there? TY for comment and GL on the bidding.

I had to change my cord and went to a sewing machine shop and they sold me a used one for $2.50 so someone is going to gt an awesome deal on this... enjoy your new machine...and i hope you rock the listia points bankers world... i would fan you but i am at 1000 people fanned and cant fan all you lovely people.. but i would love more fans..lol...

Wow really! I had no idea I could buy a used cord for $2.50 from some places! Now I have a big : ( on my face as much as I love to sew. I really could have kept this machine for own personal use on extra projects. I am sending to the winner all that came with this machine when purchased! The power cord, and foot peddle. The foot peddle was gently taken apart to replace the cord which was chewed by my baby Yorkie whom decided she wanted to be a cord chewer when I first brought her home. So just the cord needs to be replaced and not the whole assembly! As everyone can see in photo's there are 2 prongs in which the power cord connects to in the foot peddle! Hope this helps.
