SPORE is a computer game in which you create your own little alien, then help it grow by consuming food found in the environment, all the while dodging creatures that want to EAT your little guy!

Start off with a single CELL; grow this into a CREATURE, who then goes about making a TRIBE. Several TRIBES create a CIVILIZATION, and after awhile, your creation takes off into space to colonize other planets!

Hey there, I heard there were issues with the DRM on this game making it so you can only install it so many times, do you know if there are any issues with that? Also, would you ship to Canada, and if so how much would you charge. Thanks!

It's a DVD, so there would be no way to track it, unless it taps into a server on the Net. How many times do you WANT to install it???

I'm not shipping outside the US at this time.

Hi blmgtn_rezident,

The reason I asked about the DRM is that EA recently made it so you can only install this game a maximum of 5 times before having to call them and prove that you purchased it legally (ie. not downloaded from a website). So if you've installed it multiple times before you sell it then the person who wins the auction may have some trouble with it. Also, you do need an active internet connection in order to play because the game connects to EA servers when you install it and every 10 days thereafter to verify it is a legally purchased copy. I'll put a link at the bottom of this post for people who want more info.

Anyway, I still want this game and wil be happy to bid on it assuming you haven't already installed it 5 times thereby making a proof-of-purchase necessary in order for the auction winner to install it. Thanks.

I got it used, and installed it only once. Can't say what the previous owner did. The booklet containing the registration code IS included.

You get the sleeve, case, DVD & manual. The manual has the Unlock code, so keep that with the box, should you sell it at a later date!

Yeah, it's pretty fun in the early stages, but I lost interest pretty fast. Not a reflection on the game; memory problems caused by a surgery gone bad several years ago.
