The listing, Become a Trillionaire - $100 Trillion Zimbabwe Dollar has ended.

Zimbabwe had a period of hyperinflation in which their government printed too much money. This bill was originally worth $300 USD, but most of the money they printed dropped in actual value very quickly after it was released. For instance, Zimbabwe's $100 billion banknote bought exactly 3 eggs on the day of its release. Zimbabwe's currency is no longer in use as of April 2009, but this is a definite collector's item. Besides, who wouldn't want to be an instant Trillionaire?

Zimbabwe's rapid deflation was fascinating... very cool to own a piece of history...

Now if only I could get that time machine working to trade this for USD in 2008...
