The listing, Box-O-Puter - Unsorted Computer Parts has ended.
Yup, it's a box of parts. From Dell rackmount servers and an HP laptop. They're sold *as-is.* The servers were sold to me as working, bit the parts are untested. The laptop passed away after a courageous battle with overheating, so at least some of the components are definitely fried. The parts are really just random, not enough to build a computer, but who knows what other cool uses they could have? (:
Free shipping to USA, exact cost elsewhere. As always, please feel free to ask questions. Thank you and good luck!
I'm not sure about the specs/condition of the server CPU. (I'm not even sure that mobo made it into the box, honestly.)
GPUs are onboard, no cards. The laptop CPU was an AMD quad-core, but since the laptop died of heat, there's a strong possibility that that CPU is fried. So very possibly, no working valuable CPUs or GPUs. Sorry I couldn't give a clearer answer. Thanks!
Nope, they were in a 2U Dell server. They do seem very beefy. Maybe they could work in a desktop? Smallish diameter though, maybe 3-4 inches, so they might be loud.
